Prospective students
NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING GRAD STUDENTS (posted 12/2/25)
Dr. Ackermans does not typically accept students into the lab without being able to guarantee at least 2 years of full funding, which can sometimes be offered as a GTA at UA. Note that UA usually have a week in October where grad applications are free.
Ideally, you join the lab with your own funding, but do not hesitate to ask if we can fund you, opportunities come up every so often without being advertised.
